The year 2012 felt the impact of technology on all responsibilities of this Division. Each area of responsibility, whether it be Weights and Measures, Public Safety RF System(Radio), Field Section(telephony), License Section, Public Safety Network or Operations, technology has been implemented or updated to help improve our job tasks, response times or alleviate maintenance problems.

With new updated databases, updated VoIP telephony, rebanding of the radio system, electronic data gathering, automated processes for letters/mailings, wireless data capture from the field, and the upgrading of the 911 system(preparing for acceptance of text messaging and video into the 911 center), we have moved this Division into the 21^st century.

These new systems will allow us to better serve our internal and external customers whether it be through on-line payments/applications, emailing invoices/receipts, electronic signatures or just plain information sharing.
Our mission is to help our customers any way we can and technology will make that easier and faster for all.
